Kanchenjunga Trek

Kanchenjunga Trek

Kanchenjunga(8,586m) is the world’s 3rd tallest mountain .It is a very remote trek which provides the best curves of the nature. This is one of the unexplored and virgin trekking route locating at the eastern part of Nepal. This region is a comparatively isolated region that was opened to trekking only after 1988 which makes the flora and fauna as well as the traditions of the region unaffected by the modern world. The biodiversity is still intact and the traditions of the people give us a glimpse into the mountain lifestyle. You can enjoy different types of small and high snowy peak above 8,000 m and below 8,000m  popular peaks such as Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt.Makalu (8,201m) and Mt. Lhotse (8,516m) etc. where we can find many mysterious stories concerning on Himalayan Yeti, the mythical and unseen snowman is believed to be residing in this region. The area is rich in wildlife with iconic species such as the snow leopard, Tibetan wolf and red panda at large on the high mountain slopes, pine forests and bamboo jungle. Going inthe spring and enjoying the visual delight of over 40 species of rhododendron  blooming, including Nepal's national flower, the scarlet LaliGurans is the best time to travel. You'll find the villages along the trails equally vibrant and varied from the Limbu peoples of the lower valleys to the Gurung, Rai and Sherpas of the higher hills. If you're lucky you may be welcomed in to dance and sing on one of the many festivals, or to try the warm mildly alcoholic tongba from the a dark wooden, brass ringed pots. Or try a cardamom tea made from the pods of the many plants growing throughout the lower jungles. Trekking to Kanchenjunga is an unforgettable adventure as we get the lovely experience to reach out to the very remote places, local people ,wild animal and different species of plants ,get into the heart of the Himalaya . The scale of both mountain and valley is difficult to comprehend even though the it is worth to travel in such a wonderful place.
