Rara Lake Trek offers a unique window to enjoy wilderness. The Rara Lake is called the “queen of lakes” because she lies majestically high in the throne of hills with the Himalayas as her bejeweled crown. It is the largest and deepest freshwater lake in Nepal formed by Himalayan glacier.It covers an area of 10.8 sq.km. You can enjoy thereby boating and supper scenic scenery of real nature.The route is very much ‘off the beaten track’ and gives plenty glimpses of cultures and backdrop very different from the rest of Nepal. During your trek, you will also be entering the Rara National Park which is considered to be one of the finest parks in the world andThe Rara National Park is home to around 1,074 species of animals including 51 mammalian species and 214 species of birds. Black Bear, Leopard, Black Panther, Deer, Red Panda, Boars and the likes are among the popular sightings in the national park. The hills are blanketed by pine and juniper forests and the valley underneath are in mostly prairies. The local food with hospitality will add more memory to your visit. Travellers say that you can experience heaven on earth at this place.
