We set up a camp and stay here overnight.
From Island Base Camp, we start our expedition to High Camp. Sometimes, we work with ropes, axe and crampons while ascending to the high camp. Equally, you face the cold temperature, icy breeze and low oxygen level. Be careful, do not stop and continue trekking. We have plenty of time to prepare and recuperate after the short hike from Base Camp to High Camp. Before ascending Island Peak, the guides will assist and train you.
Overnight, we stay in the tent enjoying the warm cuisine prepared by the guides and volunteers.
Today, your ultimate dream comes true. After early breakfast, we start our expedition. At noon, the region will be risky due to strong waves of winds. From High Camp, we ascend stepping on the icy rocks and trails. Be careful of hallows, crevasses, steep rocks and slippery ridges.
We need ropes, an axe, and crampons to go to the summit. The last ascent to the peak is difficult and steep, requires the use of a ladder to reach the summit (6,189m). When you reach Island Peak, celebrate your victory; capture the low countryside, towering peaks, and tranquil surroundings.
After spending some time at the top, we retrace back to Island Base Camp. Further, we descend to Chukkung. Overnight, we stay at Chukkung in a tea house.
We keep on retracing back. From Chukkung, we descend to Dingboche enjoying a dazzling vista of Lhotse on the right and Ama Dablam on the left. Further, we follow the trail to the Imja River. Following the tranquil environment and jagged rocks, we drop into Somare and finally to Pangboche.
Overnight, we stay Pangboche.
Today, having early breakfast, we head down towards Monjo. We pass through the villages – Milingo, Debuche and Tengboche. Further, we go down to the Khyangjuma and then Namche to Sagarmatha National Park headquarter. We cross a bridge at the confluence of Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi. After coming out from the National Park checkpoint, we stop at Monjo.
Overnight, we stay at Monjo.
Our trails continue retracing back. From Monjo, we follow the trails down to Dudh Koshi River, and reach Phakding. Further, we trek passing by different Sherpa villages and crossing a suspension bridge above Thado Koshi. Finally, after ascending for about 45 minutes, we reach Lukla. Β You have accomplished Everest Panorama Trek. Reconfirm your flight Ticket and say goodbye to the local porters.
Participate in the evening farewell ceremony, and thank your hard-working and ever-smiling porters. And, take a complete rest.
On this second last day of your trek, we fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Restore your memories in the plane flying between giant mountains. Β After landing at TIA, you will be transferred to your hotel.

My sister and I went on a trip to Nepal in Oct 2018. We got in touch with Ram of Lonely Nepal Travels after a few of our friends reccomended him to us, and we were so glad we did! Nepal has so much to offer, and our trip was planned according to our interests and what we wanted to do. It included everything from visiting town squares and cultural/religious sites, to some adventure like bungee jumping/white water rafting/paragliding, and a trek to Poon Hill.
Everything was taken care of, down to the smallest details, and the guide was so kind as to invite us out for a traditional Nepalese dinner the day we landed in Kathmandu.
I am already looking forward to planning another trip to Nepal, one exclusively for trekking, with Lonely Nepal Travels’ very experienced guides.
