A representative from Lonely Nepal will warmly greet you upon your arrival at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport which is 1,300 meters (4,265 feet) above sea level. Look for a person holding a sign with your name or the name of the company. Afterward, you will be taken to a Nepali restaurant and checked into a luxurious hotel or guesthouse in Thamel. In the evening, you will have a brief introduction meeting with your guide and trekking expert.

They will provide you with comprehensive details about the upcoming excursion to the Annapurna Base Camp Shortest Trek. A welcome dinner will be served for you to relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead. Take this time to gear up for the trekking adventure. You will take a morning flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which typically takes about 30 minutes, after you have breakfast. Upon arrival at Pokhara Airport, our team will greet you and take you to Sewai in a hired jeep.

The 60-kilometer drive to Sewai takes about three hours and offers stunning views of the majestic mountain range and green rolling hills. The trekking adventure begins when you reach Sewai. You will start your journey towards Jhinu Danda by trekking through thin forests and terraced farmland. Upon reaching Jhinu, where you will have lunch, after crossing a lengthy suspension bridge over the Modi Khola River.

You will then continue your ascent of steep stairs to Chhomrong to refuel. After a day filled with adventure and beautiful sights, you will spend the night in Chhomrong, where you can unwind and rest. Before continuing with your Annapurna Base Camp Shortest Trek, take in the calm surroundings.

On Day 3, you will hike from Chhomrong to Himalaya Hotel. After enjoying a hearty breakfast in Chhomrong, your trek will begin. The hike is around 14 kilometers long and typically takes between 7 and 8 hours to complete. You will start by descending to Chhomrong Khola from Chhomrong, crossing a suspension bridge and descending the longest stone stairs. Next, you will climb towards Sinuwa a small village on a ridge, passing through terraced farmland and lush green hills that offer stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.

From Sinuwa, you will have a close-up view of the majestic Machhapuchre Himal. Continuing on the trail, you will descend towards Bamboo, a charming village surrounded by thick bamboo forests. Then, the trek will take you uphill from Bamboo to Dovan passing through oak, rhododendron, and bamboo forests.

As your journey through the Modi Khola valley you will be treated to spectacular views of Machhapuchre Himal upon reaching the Himalaya Hotel. Here, you can relax, enjoy a meal, and take in the breathtaking surroundings. You will spend the night at the luxurious Himalaya Hotel where you can rest and prepare for the next day's adventure.

As you make your way to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), which is located at an elevation of 4,130 meters (13,550 feet), today marks a significant turning point in your journey. Your aspiration of reaching ABC comes true on this day. You will begin your trek toward ABC after having an early breakfast at the Himalaya Hotel. It is expected that the trek, which covers approximately 11 kilometers and takes between 6 and 7 hours to complete, will be completed.

The hike begins with a climb that lasts about an hour before reaching Hinku Cave. You will then ascend to the Modi Khola streamcross it and proceed toward Deuralifrom there. The trail will take you through uphill and downhill sections, meadows, boulders, and a suspension bridge, among other terrains. A stunning 360-degree view of snow-capped peaks like Machhapuchre, Gangapurna, Annapurna South and Annapurna III awaits you as you approach Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC).

You will climb to ABC from MBC, where you will find the base camp positioned a top Annapurna I (8,091 meters/26,554 feet). You will camp and spend the night at ABC, where you will gather priceless memories and be surrounded by majestic mountains. As you rest at Annapurna Base Camp take in the beauty of the Himalayas and the sense of achievement.

You will wake up early today to witness the stunning sunrise over Mount Annapurna from Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), where you can see the Annapurna summit at 4,130 meters (13,550 feet). By the end of the day, you will arrive at Sinuwa as you descend from the high mountains, reflecting on the amazing views and memories created at ABC.

You will start your trek back towards Nayapul after enjoying a satisfying breakfast in Sinuwa. The trek is expected to take about 4-5 hours, covering approximately 6 kilometers. You will pass through tick forests, climb stone staircases, and cross a suspension bridge over the Chhomrong Khola as you descend from Sinuwa. Moving on, you will reach Chhomrong, a charming town. From Chhomrong, you will hike along steep trails alongside the Modi Khola River to Sewai.

Once you reach Sewai, the trail will lead you to Nayapul, where your trek will conclude. You will then be driven back to Pokhara, a lakeside city located about 60 kilometers from Nayapul, in just three hours. Upon arriving in Pokhara, you can relax in a luxurious hotel or guesthouse and recall about the amazing sights and experiences you encountered on your Annapurna Base Camp Shortest Trek.
