Now, the real start of your Everest Base Camp trip has arrived, so make sure you are ready for the adventure of a lifetime. Get up early and have a hearty breakfast as you are about to embark on an incredible journey.

Begin by taking an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which will only take 30 to 40 minutes but will provide you with breathtaking views of the Himalayan range. You will experience a mix of calm and excitement as the plane between massive peaks, eventually landing at Lukla Airport. This airport is famously known for having one runway positioned in an unsafe position on a rock, making it one of the most challenging airports in the world.

The real excitement begins when you leave Lukla and start your trek towards Phakding showing your Trekking Pass at the checkpoint. Passing through the charming Sherpa villages of Thalsaroa and Cheplung as you descend, you'll catch a glimpse of Mt. Khumbilain the distance.

Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the valley, filled with lush greenery and cascading waterfalls, as you follow the path alongside the Dudh Koshi River. After a few hours of hiking, you'll reach the welcoming village of Ghat and finally make your way to Phakding, your destination for the day.

You will be trekking from Phakding to Namche Bazaarthe busy center of the Everest region, and this is an exciting part of the adventure. Prepare yourself for a day filled with amazing sights and life-changing experiences.

Starting in Phakding, you will pass through thick fir, alpine, and rhododendron forests as you follow the zigzag path of the Dudh Koshi River. Keep an eye out for signs of wildlife and the diverse vegetation that thrives in this natural area as you immerse yourself in the peaceful beauty of the surroundings.

You will need to register your trekking permit at the checkpost as you travel through charming villages like Benkar, Chhumuwa, and Monjo before entering the famous Sagarmatha National Park. After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will take a brisk walk towards the Sagarmatha National Park museum. Here, you can immerse yourself in the rich texture of Sherpa culture and learn about the native flora and wildlife that inhabit this incredible region. Take your time exploring the interesting displays and delving into the unique environment that thrives in the shadow of the tall peaks.

Continuing our exploration, we will come across the Everest View Hotel, an architectural marvel hidden high in the sky. The breathtaking 360-degree view of snow-capped peaks, including the majestic Mt. Everest, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Lhotse, and Ama Dablam, will leave you in awe. As you witness the beauty of these towering mountains, let their grandeur leave you speechless.

For those seeking more adventure, there are hidden gems to be discovered in nearby areas. Explore the picturesque towns of Khumjung and Kunde, home to the renowned Hillary School and Hillary Hospital, serving as a tribute to Sir Edmund Hillary'senduring legacy in the region.

On day 5 embark on an unforgettable adventure by boarding a shared helicopter for a scenic flight to Everest Base Camp. On the 6th day of our incredible vacation, we will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Everest Base Camp and conclude it with a breathtaking helicopter flight back to Kathmandu.We rise with the sun in Namche and board a helicopter to reach Everest Base Camp. Prepare to be amazed by the stunning views of Everest and its surrounding peaks as we fly high above the majestic Himalayas. Upon arrival at Kala Patthar or Everest Base Camp, we will be greeted with breathtaking views of the Himalayan range and the world's highest summit. From there, we fly on a commercial airplane back to Kathmandu, where our tour began.
