Nepal Overland Tour

Nepal Overland Tour is slightly shorter but one of the most popular tours among domestic and international tourists. You are going to visit Seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in a single Kathmandu Valley – it comprises Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur. Further, you visit Pokhara – the most beautiful city in Nepal with lakes, greenery, and mountain views. Then, your tour ends with enjoying the sunrise/sunset views over snow-capped mountains (Annapurna I, Jugal Himal, Langtang Himal, and the southern part of Mt. Everest)

During your trek, you feel much rewarded. Feel blessed visiting Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Bouddha Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Hanumandhoka Durbar Square, and Changunarayan Temple in Kathmandu Valley. Further, Chandragiri Hills, Garden of Dreams, Asan Bazaar, etc., also attract you and give lifetime experience.

When you visit Pokhara, you feel happier and more excited. Vivid Pokhara city, a cluster of nine lakes, mountain views, and cultural programs, makes you feel fully indulged with the beauty of Pokhara. But, most importantly, you get a chance to observe the golden sun rising just above pristine Annapurna I (8,091 m) – the tenth highest mountain in the world.

After Pokhara, we stop at Bandipur – predominantly a Newari town with its age-old flavor still intact and well preserved; Bandipur welcomes you with its unique offerings such as rich hill culture, mountain views, and hiking.

When you visit Nagarkot, you enjoy an astonishing sunrise view – a golden ball coming out from the spectacular snow-capped mountain ranges. We take breakfast and start trekking to Changunarayan Temple – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest temples in Nepal. On the way, we witness the spectacular views of the mountains, greeneries, and landscapes

My sister and I went on a trip to Nepal in Oct 2018. We got in touch with Ram of Lonely Nepal Travels after a few of our friends reccomended him to us, and we were so glad we did! Nepal has so much to offer, and our trip was planned according to our interests and what we wanted to do. It included everything from visiting town squares and cultural/religious sites, to some adventure like bungee jumping/white water rafting/paragliding, and a trek to Poon Hill.

Everything was taken care of, down to the smallest details, and the guide was so kind as to invite us out for a traditional Nepalese dinner the day we landed in Kathmandu.

I am already looking forward to planning another trip to Nepal, one exclusively for trekking, with Lonely Nepal Travels’ very experienced guides.

    Namaste!

We went on a 10-day trip to Nepal and had the most amazing time with Ram and the team. They were always there for us, with us throughout our journey to make sure that we were having a blast.
We went on a 4-days hike, visited Pokhara and Kathmandu, known and unknown places, temples and churches. We had the best local food inside and outside the cities.
I personally highly recommend Lonely Nepal Travels, they were all so positive, so welcoming and had great knowledge of the history of the country, the traditions, the religions and the areas we were visiting.

Thank you Ram! We had a great time and will definitely see you again soon!
